Feature Highlight
While analysis is not a feature per say, the tools inside Alerion XMT that help
you in your analysis can certainly be called helpful if not a powerful set of features.
While most people think that taking a look at their data is important, many don't
really know what it means or how to do it.
For us, looking at your business is a way to judge activities, a way to grade an
action to determine if what you are doing is heading you in the direction of your
goals.
For example, you may want to increase your 'average ticket' by 20% and are using
a coupon to help you achieve these results. You will need to measure your results.
Did you increase your average ticket during the coupon period, did it stay the same,
did it decrease?
This is where Alerion XMT comes in; XMT gives you the tools to measure your results.
This critical feedback is the backbone of XMT and essential to realizing your full
potential.

- How much profit did I make on a title?
- How can I get my late inventory back sooner?
Alerion XMT can answer these questions and a whole lot more. Let's look at some
of the reports and tools that will help you answer these questions.

Turnover Report - The information contain here is designed to help
you determine the right stocking level of merhandise items. A turnover percentage
is the number of times you sell the stocking level during a given period.
For example, if you have a stocking level of 50 on an item and you sold 100, the
turnover would be 200%. Meaning you sold twice as much as your stocking level during
a given period.
If you are always reordering the product, say every week, you may be running out
and not fulfilling customer needs and you may be able to get a quantity break by
ordering more of the product less often.
The reverse is true as well. You may have items that have a stocking level that
is too high and the product sits on the shelve for months. Item with a low turnover
are tying up assets.
